At Mahidha, we are committed to delivering your jewellery safely, securely, and in a timely manner. This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped, delivered, and managed for both domestic and international customers. By placing an order with Mahidha, you agree to the terms of this Policy.
2. Order Processing
All orders are subject to payment confirmation, product availability, quality inspection, and fraud verification where required.
Each jewellery piece undergoes a quality inspection before dispatch to ensure product accuracy, quality standards, stone security, pearl quality, finishing standards, and packaging quality. Orders generally enter processing immediately after successful payment.
3. Processing Timelines
Standard products are generally dispatched within 2–5 business days from confirmation of payment.
Processing timelines may be extended during product launches, sale events, festive periods, inventory audits, or unexpected operational disruptions.
4. Made-to-Order Products
Certain products may be customized, personalized, engraved, or made-to-order. Such products may require additional production time. Estimated production timelines will be communicated separately where applicable. Made-to-order timelines are estimates only.
5. Quality Inspection Process
Prior to dispatch, products may undergo inspection for craftsmanship, stone setting quality, pearl condition, metal finishing, packaging integrity, and product matching with order specifications. This process helps maintain Mahidha's quality standards and may require additional processing time where necessary.
6. Shipping Locations
Domestic Orders — across India, subject to courier serviceability.
International Orders — to selected international destinations. International shipping availability may vary based on local regulations, shipping restrictions, carrier limitations, and import requirements. Mahidha reserves the right to refuse shipments to certain locations.
7. Delivery Estimates – India

8. Delivery Estimates – International

9. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges, if applicable, will be displayed at checkout. Charges may vary depending on order value, delivery location, product type, promotional campaigns, and courier partner rates. Mahidha reserves the right to modify shipping charges without prior notice.
10. Free Shipping Offers
From time to time Mahidha may offer free shipping, reduced shipping rates, or promotional delivery offers. Such promotions may be limited to certain regions or minimum order values, and may be withdrawn at any time.
11. Tracking Information
Once dispatched, customers may receive email notifications, SMS notifications, tracking details, and courier information. Tracking information may take up to 24–48 hours to become active.
12. Customer Responsibility for Address Details
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate name, correct address, landmark information, mobile number, and email address. Mahidha shall not be responsible for delays resulting from incorrect customer information.
13. Failed Delivery Attempts
Courier partners may attempt delivery multiple times. If delivery cannot be completed due to customer unavailability, incorrect address, refusal to accept shipment, or non-responsiveness, the package may be returned to Mahidha. Additional shipping charges may apply for re-dispatch.
14. Delivery Confirmation
Delivery shall be considered completed when the product is delivered to the provided address, accepted by the customer, or accepted by an authorized recipient. An authorized recipient may include family members, building security, reception personnel, or persons present at the delivery address.
15. Risk of Loss
Risk of loss and responsibility for products transfers to the customer upon successful delivery. Customers are encouraged to inspect packages immediately upon receipt.
16. Damaged Packages
If a package appears opened, tampered with, torn, crushed, wet, or damaged, customers should:
- Photograph the package before opening.
- Record an unboxing video where possible.
- Contact Mahidha within 24 hours of delivery.
Failure to provide timely notice may affect our ability to investigate claims.
17. Lost Shipments
A shipment may be considered lost if tracking shows no movement for an extended period and courier investigation confirms loss. Mahidha may replace the product, re-dispatch the order, or issue a refund, subject to investigation findings.
18. Delays in Delivery
Mahidha is not responsible for delays caused by weather events, floods, earthquakes, political disruptions, public holidays, customs delays, courier disruptions, or government restrictions. Delivery dates are estimates only.
19. International Customs, Duties & Taxes
For international shipments, customers are solely responsible for customs duties, import taxes, VAT/GST equivalents, customs brokerage charges, government levies, and local handling fees. These charges are not included unless specifically stated. Mahidha has no control over such charges.
20. Customs Clearance Delays
International shipments may be delayed due to customs inspections, regulatory reviews, documentation checks, and import restrictions. Mahidha shall not be liable for such delays.
21. Refused International Shipments
If a customer refuses delivery of an international shipment, customs duties may remain payable, return shipping fees may apply, and refunds may be reduced by actual costs incurred.
22. Restricted Items
Certain countries may restrict precious metals, jewellery products, pearl products, or gemstone products. Customers are responsible for ensuring that products may legally enter their destination country.
23. Force Majeure
Mahidha shall not be liable for delays or failures arising from events beyond reasonable control including natural disasters, floods, fires, pandemics, war, civil unrest, transportation failures, power outages, cyber incidents, and government restrictions.
24. Shipping Partners
Mahidha may engage third-party logistics providers for shipment and delivery. Courier selection is determined at Mahidha's discretion. Use of a courier partner does not create a direct contractual relationship between the customer and such courier provider.
25. Policy Changes
Mahidha reserves the right to update this Policy at any time. Updated versions will be posted on the Website with a revised "Last Updated" date.
